TopFem’s philosophy is based on five core principles: Ambition, Empowerment, Network, Mentorship, and Leadership development.

TopFem is a vibrant network for both master students and young professionals. Our monthly networking events are often combined with workshops, which aim to equip our members with the soft skills frequently missing in today’s university educations. We believe mentors have great added value in personal development, and connect our members to experienced and professional mentors. Leadership development is essential for empowering our next generation of leaders. We endeavour to provide pathways and opportunities for ambitious young women seeking to kick-start their careers.

"Through TopFem’s activities you get the chance to take a peek inside several companies. This gives you the opportunity to experiences various workplaces and sectors. However, the most valuable part of a network such as TopFem is the relationship you build with a mentor. From my own experience I can tell you that it opens many doors to new opportunities."

Our programmes

TopFem members are presented with a unique opportunity to explore the business world, develop their soft and hard skills, and build a network for life. We offer two programmes:

  • The Mentor&Network Programme is centred around our monthly networking events. Furthermore,  you will be linked to a mentor, giving you further personal development and networking opportunities.
  • The Leadership Programme is the greatest opportunity for self-development that TopFem offers. Besides the opportunities of the Mentor&Network Programme and professional leadership training, you will conduct a research project on topics inspired by TopFem's core principles.

"There are different ways to be a good leader. Since there are so many types of leaders and leadership styles, it is important to find out what your own strengths are, but also where your weaknesses lie."
