Exciting news: the ladies of the Leadership Programme 2017-2018 have started their research projects! In either duos or trios, they have come up with a versatile arrange of research subjects on which they will focus the upcoming months. Marlous and Janine are going to dive into the world of gender inequality, investigating the strategies of Dutch female diplomats for dealing with gender stereotypes when maintaining intercultural contacts for work purposes. Furthermore, Dorine, Natalie, and Carmen will start their project within the banking sector, finding out the reasons behind the difference in the number of women leaders in the boardroom. Emma and Dideke are focusing on the health industry, examining the stagnation of progress in the labor participation rate of working mothers. Géraldine and Liseanne will explore the effect of a demotivating culture on the extent of success in a woman’s career. And last but not least, Loan and Genevieve are awaiting their meeting with law firm Clifford Chance, to cooperate on a research subject.
